Trinity Kids Kloset
Childrens clothing resources for the social service agencies
that provide care to
underserved children in Palm Beach County.
Sorting Incoming Donations
Picking & Packing Requests
About the Trinity Kids Kloset (TKK):
TKK provides clothing to children & families who are served by the many social service agencies of Palm Beach County. TKK solicits donations of new or used clothing from our community and church family and then sorts and stores these donations. These donations are then used to fill the requests received from the social service agency representatives that deal directly with the children and families.
How TKK works:
TKK receives requests from agency representatives that indicate the child’s name, sizes, and specific clothing needs for that child. TKK workers then prepare a clothing package that typically includes 3 sets of clothing, shoes, socks, new underwear and a small hygiene pack of soap, shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste. For young children, the package includes a toy and/or a children’s book. While our primary objective is to provide children’s clothing, we often provide clothing for adults when requested. Clothing donations:
Donations should be useable, clean clothing that can be distributed without laundering or repair. Bags or boxes of clothing and shoes may be brought to TKK in Fellowship Hall on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9am to 11am or or Thursdays 1pm to 3pm, or to the church office during other business hours. Please do not leave donations outside when TKK or the office is not open. Non-cash donations slips are available on request to TKK.
Money donations:
TKK purchases new underwear, socks and shoes when necessary for the clients, and monetary donations are always needed and welcome. These donations may be included with your weekly offering with the “Kids Kloset” and amount indicated on the envelope. Checks, payable to TUMC and marked for "Kids Kloset" may also be sent to the church office.
"Servants" in the Kids Kloset:
If you enjoy actually "doing a mission" and not just talking about it, then working in the Kids Kloset may be for you. The opportunities are great and extremely satisfying. If you would like to learn more about serving in the Kids Kloset crew,

Special Items:
TKK occasionally receives donations of cribs, car seats, strollers, etc. for which we have only limited storage. If you have some of these items to donate or are an agency representative with a need for these types of items, contact TKK at 622-5278 xtn 126. A TKK rep will consult with you as to suitability for donation or check current availability.
New Agencies:
