Day 2 all us well

Hey all,

It was a great day today. We woke up early and had breakfast then went to our job site. We are helping out Mrs. Dimitrius, she lives in a mobile home and we are replacing her deck. Today we split our group into 2 work groups with one group working on Mrs. Dimitrius deck and another group working on a mobile home behind hers building a smaller deck. It started with demolishing the old deck which our students found to be a lot of fun. They learned how to use leverage to move boards. Everyone us safe and they are all in high spirits.

I look forward to reading what's going on. I'm missing Emily more, maybe because she's never been this far away before. I'm glad that the kids are sweating and making a difference after a summer (so far) of leisure. Keep the snippets coming!
